BUYING YOUR HOUSE
There are two ways to buy your dream house in Thailand. One is a Thai company the second is by lease. A foreigner is not allowed to own land in Thailand only a Thai national can do so. The first way is to set up a Thai company which will buy the land for you. This is a very simple and inexpensive process. The second is by a 30 year lease which has two further 30 year periods giving a total of 90 years. Any changes in the law will allow you to change your contract if you so wish.
